My exhibit at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley

I dropped by the Museum this morning to gather some photos of my exhibit.  My artwork is hanging in the Lewis Hall, which has exceptional light for viewing artworks.  Most folks are so surprised when they first visit the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, thinking it will be all Civil War or valley exhibits.  Much to their surprise, they find artworks on the quality level of The National Gallery of Art in Washington DC.  Its amazing to me to be viewing artworks by Constable or Gilbert Stuart, outside of the National Gallery or the Louvre.    Coming up on April 8th, there will be a meet the artist event, where I will be signing prints of my Medusa painting which are for sale in the museum's gift shop, from 12 noon until 3.  The museum is located at 901 Amherst Drive in Winchester.  For more information about the museum, go to www.theMSV.org

Nearing Finish on Tanagers

I am nearing the finish line on this one.  Very happy with my little tree frog, but not in love with this one the way I was with the Eagles.  Possibly because of the interruptions
which kept me from working on this steadily.  Some days its hard to get back to the zone.
